The Cornwall Presbyterian Church served its Annual Pasta Dinner from 4:30-7:00 PM on Saturday, February 24, to benefit The Newburgh Ministry, whose mission is to offer dignity and hope to those who enter its doors seeking shelter, resources, solace and fellowship.
Featured on this year’s menu was CPC’s delicious homemade lasagna, complimented with a choice of marinara or meat sauce. The dinner guests were served by the church’s youth (under the watchful eye of adults). The church also has a fine reputation for its homemade desserts — pies, cakes, cookies, brownies, puddings and more were presented to dinner guests. And the bake sale table offered cakes, cookies and more for those who like to take something sweet home.
Thankfully the snow date of February 25 was unnecessary.
Thank you to all who came out to join your neighbors — shared a meal, enjoyed the hospitality and supported a worthy cause.
Below is a picture of some of our children, who helped to serve at a previous pasta dinner!
