Sunday, January 8 we joined many churches in receiving ‘star words.’ Just as the magi followed the light of a star to Bethlehem, we each received a unique word printed on a small paper star to follow in the coming year. Each word is a gift. We can pray over it. Pray with it. See where it leads us. It is a gift waiting to be unwrapped. We were encouraged to place the star word somewhere we will see it regularly throughout the year to allow consistent reflection on how God is moving through, around, or in connection to that word. – Would you like a word for the year?
